Binance Spot is Binance’s spot market. DexBots needs a dedicated API key with spot trading and balance read permissions, without withdrawal access.

Essential security rule
Use IP 51.77.65.99, enable trading permissions only and always disable withdrawals. ElixoAI never requests withdrawal access.
1. Set up Binance Spot
- Register or sign in to Binance and complete required account verification in your region.
- Fund your Spot wallet - typically in USDT or the base asset of your trading pair.
- Create an API key at Binance API Management.
- Permissions: enable spot trading and balance read access, keep withdrawals disabled.
- Set IP restriction to 51.77.65.99, then save your API Key and API Secret.
2. Add to ElixoAI / DexBots
Complete this step inside ElixoAI / DexBots on DEX Bots → API keys.
- Open the API keys page and click “+ Add API key”.
- Select Binance Spot and enter a descriptive key name.
- Fill in the API Key and API Secret from Binance.
- Click “Add API key” - the credentials are stored encrypted.
- Run “Verify API” to test the connection.
After connecting
Start with a small trading limit and confirm that balances and statuses appear correctly in DexBots.
Spot specifics
Leverage and margin type are not used (1x spot trading). For Spot Short, the base asset must already be on your spot balance.
